A10 Ware North Junction:
Take the exit marked Ware and follow the signs into
Ware along Westmill Road. Almost immediately go straight
over a small roundabout and then follow the road around
a couple of bends as it heads downhill and becomes Watton
Road. After about 500m Watton House will be on your
right hand side, opposite a small convenient store on
the left. Turn right into the Security gate entrance
where you will be issued with a pass and given directions
to the Visitors parking area.
From A10
Ware South Junction:
Follow the A10 branch to the roundabout with the A414
and take the Ware exit, which is Pebble Hill. Follow
this road through Great Amwell, being careful to take
notice of the speed limit and enforcement cameras. Follow
this road into Ware, when it becomes London Road. Continue
until you come to a roundabout and take the right (second)
exit onto Viaduct Road in Ware. Follow this road to
the next roundabout where you turn left onto Ware High
Street. This becomes Baldock Road shortly before another
roundabout where you turn left. At the next roundabout
take the right (second) exit onto Watton Road. Watton
House is approximately 150m on the left-hand side. Turn
left into the Security gate entrance where you will
be issued with a pass and given directions to the Visitors
parking area.
From Ware
Station:
Ware can be travelled to from London Liverpool Street
on the Hertford East Line. Turn left out of the Station
to the junction with Amwell End. Turn right along Amwell
End and follow it onto Viaduct Road, heading to the
left until you meet a roundabout. Trn left onto Ware
High Street. This becomes Baldock Road shortly before
another roundabout where you turn left. At the next
roundabout take the right (second) exit onto Watton
Road. Watton House is approximately 150m on the left-hand
side. Report to the Security gate entrance where you
will be issued with a pass.
